Please have the documentation and information below ready before you register for a course at English in York.
We collect this information to help us provide the highest level of care and service to our students at English in York, and we appreciate your support with this.

1. If you are registering yourself as an adult (18 or above), you will need:

• • a scan of your passport photograph page to upload;
• • a scan of your signature to upload.

2. If you are registering an under 18 as a parent or legal guardian, you will need:

• • a scan of the student’s passport photograph page to upload;
• • a scan of the student’s signature to upload;
• • a scan of your signature to upload.

You will also have to provide your details as an emergency contact and the name, telephone number and email of a second emergency contact who can be contacted if you are not available. Please have these details ready before you begin booking.

Parents and students, please confirm you fully understand all the following information.

• English in York offers language tuition for independent individuals and groups
• The majority of students studying with us are adults (aged 18+).
• Students aged 16 and 17 are accepted onto our courses, subject to parental consent. These students will be taught with adult students. Unless booked as part of a closed group.
• Students under 18 studying on our courses will not be supervised during breaks, or after school has finished and will come into contact with adult students.
• English in York fees include tuition only. Students are expected to pay for their own transfers, refreshments, lunch, social programme activities, bus pass and ancillary costs. Homestay is charged at a separate cost.

I agree:
• - not to look at any websites or pictures showing violence, unkindness or sex when I'm in school or share these with other students;
• - not to send photos, videos or messages that could make another student sad or unhappy,
• - not to take or send photos, videos or messages of other students unless they say it is okay; and
• - only to use kind and good words in my messages to other students.
