Invece, pittoreschi negozi, caff\u00e8, sale da t\u00e8 e ristoranti costeggiano le strade. Su alcuni edifici si possono ancora vedere i ganci e gli ampi &quot;ripiani per la carne&quot; (derivati dall&#039;anglosassone <em>Carne di maiale<\/em>), su cui i macellai esponevano la loro carne. Noterete che i piani superiori degli edifici sono sporgenti. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 stato fatto per ottenere uno spazio abitabile pi\u00f9 ampio senza ostruire la strada sottostante, nonch\u00e9 per fornire un riparo alla carne
